For the next two weeks I am going to be working my normal 6 hour shift on wednesdays but on thursday friday and saturday, I will be working 15 hour shifts from noon to 3am. I'm glad because I could use the money, but then again who couldn't?

Has anyone seen that commercial for the ASPCA? The one with Sarah Mclachlan? I saw it today and it is the one of the saddest things I have ever seen. So of course because I saw it, I am now a monthly donor to the ASPCA. At least I get a T-shirt and a rubber bracelet in 4-6 weeks.

Earlier I walked over to our vending machines to get a soda when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Our vending machine area at work has a skinny full length window that looks out into the main hallway of the hospital. In my peripheral vision, I could see this little kid dancing like crazy trying to get me to look at him. I decided to see how long I could get him to dance before he gave up. We were locked into a stalemate for a good minute and a half before I finally felt bad for him. I looked over and he stopped dancing and stuck his tongue out at me and ran off. Where was this kid's parents?

Tonight was Gale's last night. She is the blonde one here: http://bumpcrud.livejournal.com/233867.html Good Lord, I may never hear that again! Woot. It's is also kind of sad that I am glad she is leaving because that means that I now get her locker in the lounge. We're some cut-throat hoes who don't take prisoners.

I'm having alot of fun planning our honeymoon. We've decided that since we wont have much money after the wedding that we are doing a smaller honeymoon and do the big blowout trip for our anniversary. That means, for our honeymoon, Kara and I want to take a road trip. What we have decided on is just checking out every roadside attraction we have ever wanted to see between here and as far north as we feel like driving. Every one comes back home with pictures of them standing in front of the sunset on the beach, but who takes honeymoon pictures in front of the 3rd Largest Fire Hydrant in the World?

We do.
